X-treme DANZ

     "STARZ OF THUNDER" is a quality all-star dance program which was born at Cheergym's Texas Thunder Facility in 2004.  Our dance program along with Cheergym's Texas Thunder Cheer All-Star program have moved and are now conducting classes in Richmond, Texas along with Iron Cross Gymnastics.  In the past 4 years, the "Starz of Thunder" all-star dance teams have come home with 9 National Titles and 10 Individual Titles. 

     We offer children of all levels of ability the opportunity to compete at the regional and national level.  We believe that being a part of our competitve all-star program will offer your child a sense of belonging, to obtain self confidence, raise their self-esteem along with learning teamwork and management skills.

Our mission is to train dancers so they have the opportunity to be a part of a professional dance team.  Here in Houston we have professional sports teams such as the NBA Houston Rockets, NFL Houston Texans, MLS Dynamo Soccer, and other semi-professional leagues in the area that have professional and semi-professional dance/cheerleader auditions.  Most are called professional cheerleaders but the correct term should be DANCER.

Our Business

This is our 5th year as Cheergym's STARZ OF THUNDER all-star dance.  In 2004 we started out with just one team.  Today we have 3 dance teams with a focus in Jazz and Hip-Hop from ages 2-18.
